Chris feels like the third wheel and breaks it off after two particular instances, but the funny thing about being in love with people is that you sometimes find that you can't stay away, no matter how much you might want to.

A/N: Okay, holy shit, I finished this. This was such a damn feat for me you all have no idea, this is the longest thing I've ever written, and I consider it my baby. This, by far, is my favorite threesome in the Star Trek verse, it's not canon, but it just works for me. There's a lot a people I want to thank, beginning first with my lovely beta cero_ate who knows everything that she did when it came to making this come together. Second, my lovely Alberta girl periariyx who is amazing on levels I can't even begin to describe. Third, vakair_dar who told me about the sign-ups the day they were closing and told me early enough to actually be able to post the comment saying I was going to do it. Anybody who cheered me on in a certain chat that I shall not name, but you all know who you are and I just outed myself to you all, but I don't care, because it's high time you all found out who I am. On to my fanmixer and my artist, who happened to a pinch hitter. Now, crediniaeth you own my soul with the mix you made me, I already said thank you once, but I'll say it again, thank you so much for it and chosenfire28 , you pinch hit for me and that just makes me so happy, thank you as well.  Finally, there is one person who should get credit for the best mix covers I've seen in a while and that is antiphobia who delighted me with the covers


Now this was hard to write especially the ending, because of what happens and how close I had grown to the characters. Eventually I'm going to have smaller one shot in this universe, mainly with the photos I mentioned, but that won't happen until my real life calms down a bit. A/N: First off, I have taken a few liberties here, the first and foremost ones with biology. As far as I'm aware, you can't really change someone's DNA when they're walking and talking and living in general. I have to ask for a bit suspension of disbelief on that matter, just think it's possible within Star Trek. For those of you who don't know, there is an "X-Gene" in the mutants in X-Men that causes them to be mutants. Now, I assumed that the cure that was used in the third X-Men movie just caused the gene to lie dormant, meaning even if a mutant took the cure, they'd still pass on some capacity of the gene to their descendants. That's technically my second liberty and my third goes with that. I changed the specifics of the power used in here, instead of having immediate drain of powers, memories, and life of everyone, I have made it so life is just drained from everyone and that it takes longer for the power to effect aliens such as Gaila and Spock.
